DriverSide.com to Provide Lead Generation for GM Dealers

SAN FRANCISCO (Business Wire) DriverSide.com, the first and only website dedicated to the car owner, today announced a new relationship with General Motors’ Service and Parts Operations that will increase visibility of its franchise dealer network, by providing tools for its customers to access maintenance and tire services at GM dealer stores. ACDelco Independent Service Centers and Total Service Support participants will also benefit from the affiliation. DriverSide adds GM to its existing list of service partners, which include Precision Tune, ASE, Texaco xPress Lube and various franchise dealers and service locations.

DriverSide’s comprehensive repair and maintenance features provide consumers with car diagnostics and estimates, access to a panel of certified auto mechanics, and factory service schedules, among many other features designed to help car owners save time and money throughout the ownership cycle. DriverSide provides GM owners looking to perform maintenance service with enhanced information for GM dealers and ACDelco Independent Service Centers plus access to service schedulers and other tools on dealers’ sites. Relevant Goodwrench promotions will be presented right when service is needed most.

“Maintaining and building stronger relationships with car owners is of paramount importance in today’s market,” said Jad Dunning, CEO of DriverSide.com. “DriverSide’s business revolves around creating profitable connections between consumers and OEMs, service providers, and after market businesses. We are honored to work with GM in this first phase of a relationship that we hope will grow over time.”

“We are always looking for ways to enhance our customers’ vehicle ownership experience,” said Cindy McColley, Interactive Marketing Manager, GM Service and Parts Operations. “As more customers choose DriverSide as a source of credible information, it makes sense for us to be there. We think this relationship can help us create loyalty for our dealers, independent service centers and our vehicles over time.”
