Find a Local Mechanic

Did work on rear wheel because caliper was frozen...but I didn't notice this when I drove to Midas for my annual inspection.

Tried to upsell on muffler repairs. When I said no they called me back and said they could price match. I would have given them the business if they had been fair from the start.

I won't be returning not recommending this Midas. People work hard for their money and mechanics shouldn't try to live up to the bad reputation they have... Price gouging the public.

My appointment was at 1:30 PM and I dropped my car at 1:15PM. I was told that it would take around 1.5 hours for my state inspection, so I decided to stay nearby. I was sitting across the street at a Dunkin Donuts and could see my car in the parking lot. It did not move for 2 hours. When I called after 2 hours, I was told (somewhat unprofessionally) that no one had had time to look at my car, and they will get to it when they get a chance. I waited for another hour and called back and then again waited for and hour and called back. Finally I saw my car move at 5:30PM and got it back at 6:15PM. I get all the COVID situation, but that does not account for poor customer service. If you are short staffed, tell me you will need 5 hours, I will understand that. Do not make wait outside and tell me 'we will get to it shortly'.

Midas did a fine job, on time

They got rid of the cards that got a free oil change with 4 paid ones, it was the best part of their offerings. The new plan is not worth it at all, maybe it saves a little but can cost money if not used. I hate these "savings" plans companies do as they rarely work out well for the buyer. Also the guy in the office doesn't wear a mask, didn't like that and don't think I'll be back.

Sorry they tried to gouge me on price

They were so friendly and sweet to my kids that had to wait with me. I didn’t feel pressured and felt that they made sure to only do necessary maintenance on my car.
